Drama club commits to 'Murder'
A murder has occurred on the set of the popular television show “It’s a Living,” a game show that guesses the occupations of audience members. The question is: Whose occupation is murder?
Find out in the audience participation play “Occupation: Murder” by Billy St. John, presented by the Quincy High School Drama Club.
Tony Fabrizi (Mitchell Karstetter), sponsor of “It’s a Living,” staggers onto stage and dies during a rehearsal for an upcoming show.

Julia Warren (Janna Hodges) knows who killed Fabrizi, but won’t tell anyone until she can concoct a reason to cover up her real purpose for being in Fabrizi’s office.
It is up to Lieutenant Jim Slate (Matt Benedict) and amateur sleuth Amanda Maxwell (Laura Becerra) to find the assailant before anyone else gets hurt.
“This has been a fun play to put on,” said Tracy Higgins, QHS drama club instructor. “This is our first audience participation play. We’re interested to see how it works out.”
The cast and play production crew includes six seniors. Tiffany Yeates and Ken Hardiman have been in all the drama club productions during their four years in high school.
“I hate to lose the seniors,” Higgins said.
The play will be performed March 18, 19 and 20 at the Quincy High School Performing Arts Center. Each performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $4 each.
