Mountain View - Caitlin Wood
Caitlin Wood
Caitlin Wood is a first-grade teacher at Mountain View Elementary School. She has lived in the Wenatchee Valley for the past 17 years, attending Wenatchee High School and Wenatchee Valley College. She then attended Central Washington University and graduated with honors. Wood has a degree in elementary education and a minor in special education. She did her student teaching in Mission View Elementary in Wenatchee. She also taught K-12 as a substitute teacher in the Entiat School District.
Getting to know her students and the community, making progress in their learning, and having fun with her students are Wood’s goals for the school year. She is most looking forward to seeing her students’ everyday successes. She lives in East Wenatchee with her son Ty, who is also attending Mountain View.

“My house is currently my latest hobby!” she said.
When she is not working on her house, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, or engaging in outdoor activities such as camping, boating, swimming and gardening.
