Senior News: March 18

Thank you to all who are coming to the Quincy Community Center (not the Senior Center) on Thursday for Rotary lunch and the Senior/Community dinner at 6 p.m. and activities. We encourage you to continue supporting us in this important way. All other activities will continue to take place at the Senior Center during our kitchen renovations. Please pardon the dust. It just means we are making progress.

The city has begun laying the pipe for our kitchen drain. This will be completed by the time bids have been received for the remainder of the project.

I know that St. Patrick’s Day was the 17th, but I encourage our seniors to another day of the “Wearin’ o’ the Green.” Be creative! There will be a prize given for the greenest, the goofiest, and the Irish-est costumes.
