Burglar gets prison time this time around
Kennedy Morales, 25, is serving 13 months behind bars for attempting to break into the Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store in Quincy.
The Quincy man, who pleaded guilty to second-degree burglary, was caught on video in December climbing over a chain-link fence and then trying to break into the store with a screwdriver. He was sentenced last month.
When he was arrested on Dec. 20 for the crime, Morales had been out of jail only two weeks after serving time for breaking into three other local businesses. He served 45 days for those crimes.
