Nov. 20, 2008 - Michael Medrano Jr. was born Oct. 10, 2008 at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee to Mercedes and Michael Medrano of Quincy. He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches tall. He joins older sisters Lexy, 10, Mitzy, 9, and older brother, Hobed, 4, at home.

Sept. 04, 2008 - Patti Franckowiak and Donald Krautscheid were married Aug. 2, 2008 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Twin Falls, Idaho. Father Jairo Restrepo officiated. Music was provided by Joanna and Karla Krautscheid.
Odessa Jane Lybbert
July 31, 2008 - Odessa Jane Lybbert was born June 1, 2008 to Warren and Susan Lybbert of Seattle. She weighed 3 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18 inches tall. She joins a brother, Warren, 4, at home.
Harris celebrates 80th birthday
June 26, 2008 - Dorothy I. Harris of Quincy will celebrate her 80th birthday on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Quincy Senior Center, 522 F St. SW, from 2 to 5 p.m. There will be a program at 3 p.m., allowing for spoken memories for those who can attend. Written memories or cards would also be welcomed. Come celebrate with us.

The event is hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Doug Shirk of Wenatchee; son and daughter-in law, Monty and Brenda Wurl of Ephrata; and son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim Wurl of Buckley. The family requests no gifts.
