Daffy Days to return on March 21

The Quincy Business Association invites local businesses to get in the spring spirit by decorating store front windows.

Not only that, the QBA is offering to do the work for you.

Daffy Days, which is March 21, puts local students to work decorating business windows with spring art scenes. For a small donation to the QBA, students will be painting windows from 10 a.m. to noon.
Businesses can join in the fun by donating a $10 participation fee. A $20 participation fee guarantees the artwork will be professionally removed by Plainview Window Cleaning after the spring celebration ends after Mother’s Day.

If you have a design request for your business’ windows, submit it in writing with the participation fee. Fees can be paid to the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce, attention Quincy Business Association.  Respond by March 13 to provide enough time for supplies to be purchased and for children to be prepared.

In conjunction with the spring window painting, the QBA suggests businesses offer a discount to customers wearing yellow, balloons to pop with coupons inside, free daffodils to customers, yellow balloons for children or a storewide-sale day.
