Easter Bunny is headed this way
Kids in the Quincy Valley will have three opportunities to snag candy- and prize-filled Easter eggs.
Quincy Valley Medical Center kicks off the fun on April 2 with its annual egg hunt. This year’s event will be a larger one than in years past with not only the egg hunt but also opportunities for the children to visit with the Quincy Police Department, Grant County Fire District No. 3 and an ambulance crew. Each agency will have emergency vehicles on hand for the kids to explore.
The hospital event starts at 3:45 p.m. and is for children ages 2 to 10 years old.
On April 4, the Georgettes also will host an Easter egg hunt at George Community Park. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. with a bake sale on the front porch of the George Community Hall, 403 W. Montmorency Blvd.
For kids up to 10 years old, the George egg hunt is at 9 a.m.
And the Quincy Moose Lodge is having its annual Easter egg hunt on April 4 at 10 a.m. at East Park, off of Highway 28. Toddlers to fourth-graders can participate.
