Letter to the editor: Foundation thanks Cave B, supporters
Last month the Quincy Valley Medical Center Foundation partnered with Cave B Winery for the Cave B Roar and Pour 5k Trail Run. Over 700 runners, Cave B staff, foundation members and volunteers came together for a fun event out at the winery. The run course wandered through the vineyards, along the bluffs above the Columbia River and ended with prizes and wine tasting at the winery. Although it was a typically blustery Central Washington spring day, everyone had a “roaringly good time.”
This event showcased our beautiful area, Cave B Winery and provided a fundraising opportunity to support emergency medical services at Quincy Valley Medical Center.
The foundation members wanted to say thank you to Cave B, our sponsors, volunteers and runners for their support. Please see the advertisement in the Business section of this edition of the Post-Register. Also thank you to the Post-Register for the excellent coverage of the event.
