Local Babe Ruth tournaments

The Columbia Basin River Dogs and the Columbia Basin River Bandits are competing in the North Washington Babe Ruth 2015 Senior State Championship July 14-15. On July 17-18 the Basin Rockhounds will be competing in the North Washington Babe Ruth 15-year-old State Championships. Both championships will be played at Johnson-O’Brien Stadium in Ephrata.


All three squads draw players from around North Central Washington. Quincy players on the River Dogs are Nick Lopez (pitcher/infielder), Kaeden Murphy (pitcher/oufielder) and Logan Moss (pitcher/infielder). Quincy players on the River Bandits are Mark Horning (pitcher/infielder) and Jesse Villarreal (catcher). Doug Tobin (pitcher/outfield and Hunter Rosenberger (infield) play for the Rockhounds.
The first game on July 14 is the River Bandits versus Lakeside Recovery at 10 a.m.
