Otis Dale Gibson

Born in Quincy to Otis and Eva (Huffman) Gibson, members of two of the Quincy Valley's original homesteading families, on April 20, 1921, Otis Dale Gibson spent the majority of his life working and raising a family in his hometown.

Dale Melvin Jeffries

Dale Melvin Jeffries, a former resident of Royal City and Quincy, passed away Oct. 15, 2008 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the age of 81. He was born July 31, 1927 in Chehalis. He once operated the Royal City newspaper and was strongly involved in the community. Dale and his wife, Marci, moved to Quincy, where Dale worked for various farmers in the Royal City and Quincy area. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Marci. A memorial get together for friends of Dale Jeffries will be held at the Ephrata American Legion on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. This will be an informal no host gathering where we can tell stories and remember a great friend. Food will be provided.

Roberta Huffman Bulleri died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at Columbia Heights Assisted Living in Wenatchee, where she had comfortably resided for the past year. Roberta was vibrant and engaged until the time of her passing.
