Barbara Lee (Hutchison) Dipprey, 69, of George, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at River West Assisted Living, surrounded by her family and friends, following a courageous battle with lung disease.

Victor L. Kreimeyer, 89, of Quincy, died Friday. July 23, 2010. He was born Oct. 19, 1920 to Louis and Louise (Sailer) Kreimeyer in the farmhouse in Geneva, Iowa. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1938. He attended Elmhurst College for one year and received his degree in forestry from the Iowa State College in 1943.

Edwin Harvill

Longtime Quincy resident Edwin Harvill passed away July 12, 2010 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at the age of 95. Ed was born in Ephrata to Ben and Vesta Harvill and attended Ephrata schools. He participated in football, basketball and track and was valedictorian of the 1932 class.

Betty Kay Durant

Betty Kay Durant, 74, of Quincy, passed away at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on July 1, 2010, as the result of a car accident on the Yakima River Canyon Road on June 17.

Clarence Overen

Clarence T. Overen, a lifelong resident of Quincy, passed away at age 85 on June 23, 2010 at the Quincy Convalescent Center. He was born Feb. 28, 1925 to Ole and Agnes (Larson) Overen on the family homestead 12 miles north of Quincy, the fifth of eight children. He attended schools in Quincy, graduating in 1943.

Lovelle (Wheeler) Ashby, 84, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2010 in Quincy after an extended illness. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
