Mora Memorial Tournament

The Tony Mora Sr. Memorial Men’s Softball tournament really is a family affair.

The Mora family just hosted the 26th annual tournament with Tony Mora Jr. spearheading the softball tournament and Judy Lindquist taking charge of the concessions.  With family and community in mind, there was a hat passed around during Saturday’s home run contest.  There was $400 raised and the money went to the Rolando Adame’s family.  The Mora’s yearly scholarship for $1,000 went to Cade Wallace.

The concession stand, which used to be Tomasita Mora’s job, now falls under the hands of Lindquist.   She is the ninth of 14 siblings.  Lindquist has 11 sisters and two brothers, which means there is plenty of family to help sell the $3.50 fajitas.
