Staff report

Police seek Nelia Gamboa Contreras, 27. Gamboa Contreras was arguing with the 23-year-old victim on June 28 when she allegedly stabbed him in the stomach with a knife, said Police Chief Bob Heimbach. Gamboa Contreras then allegedly took a second swing at the victim, scratching his shoulder, Heimbach said.
The incident happened at a home in the 1000 block of 2nd Avenue Southeast, the chief said.
The injury was not life-threatening; the victim was treated at Quincy Valley Medical Center and released, Heimbach said.
