Property tax deadline is approaching

Real, mobile home and personal property taxes are due by April 30.

The Grant County Treasurer’s Office asks that taxpayers sending their payments by mail make sure their envelopes are postmarked on or before the due date to avoid being considered delinquent. Taxpayers also should include the bottom left coupon of their statements if paying by mail for proper crediting.

A drop box is set up inside the treasurer’s office at the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata for taxpayers who wish to drop off their tax payments and do not need a receipt. The office is open through the noon hour through April 30 to accommodate people.

Property owners can review information regarding their parcels at Click on “parcel information” under “county quick links” to open TaxSifter. Property taxes also can be paid online.

For more information, call the treasurer’s office at 754-2011, extension 4299.
