Staff report

An Ephrata woman was cited for driving under the influence when the car she was driving left the roadway and rolled, sending her and her passenger to the hospital on Sunday.
Cited for DUI was Brenda L. Evangelista, 24.
The driver was taken to Quincy Valley Medical Center; however, she was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
On Monday, she had been released from the Seattle hospital, a spokeswoman said.
Also transported to the Quincy hospital was Alejandra Evangelista, 21, of Ephrata. She was treated and released, a spokeswoman there said.
The accident happened about five miles south of Quincy.
Brenda Evangelista was driving northbound on Highway 281 at about 5:15 a.m. on Sunday when she left the roadway, according to the Washington State Patrol. When she overcorrected, the car rolled and came to a rest in the northbound ditch, the WSP reported.
Both women were wearing seatbelts, the WSP reported.
