Aug. 3
Free summer movie series at Lee Theater in Ephrata, Aug. 3, 8, and 10. The first show will be Lego Batman, the latter two will be a surprise movie. Doors open for Tuesday movies at 10 a.m. and for Thursday movies at noon, with the movie starting an hour later.
Aug. 5
Farmers Market at Lauzier Park in Quincy. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. through September, every first and third Saturday of the month. Crafts, fruits, veggies, services, performers, games and food available for the whole family.
Aug. 15-19
Grant County Fair, at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake. Carnival, vendors, performers, animals, festivities. Weekly admission passes and daily tickets available. View full schedule at www.gcfairgrounds.com.
Aug. 17
Blues and Brews 6 p.m. Music by the Bucket List Blues Band, food by Mike’s Meats and Seafood, and beer from Badger Mountain Brewery. Hosted by Numerica, 477 Grant Road, East Wenatchee.
Aug. 20
Cave B Summer Music Theater will host the third of three concerts by the Yakima Valley Symphony Orchestra. 7:30 pm start time. Tickets are $25 per concert for adults and $10 per concert for students and children. Purchase online through Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. prior to each concert via the orchestra’s website, www.ysomusic.org
Tickets will be available at the door after 3 p.m. on concert days.
August to Sept. 9
It’s a Disaster! Exhibit displaying all the natural and manmade catastrophies that have befallen the Quincy Valley and its surrounding areas, at the Quincy Valley Museum Fridays and Saturdays 12:30-4:30 p.m. 415 F St. SW.
