Volleyball sweeps Omak, soccer loses two games
The Quincy High School volleyball team swept Omak during Tuesday’s road trip. The Lady Jacks won 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.
The non-league match was just the first part of a busy week. Quincy travels to Prosser on Thursday and will be at the tournament in Ephrata on Saturday.
During Tuesday’s game, senior libero Kaitlin Ramsey collected 10 digs and senior setter Sam Kleyn had nine assists. At the net, senior middle Liz Nielson and junior outside hitter Natalie Thomsen each had five kills.
Prosser 3, Quincy 0
The Prosser Mustangs (2-2) scored two first-half goals and added an additional second-half goal for the 3-0 non-league win over Quincy.
The Lady Jacks have two home games this week. They host Royal on Thursday at 5 p.m. and play Chelan at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Warden 8, Quincy 3
Last Thursday, Warden defeated Quincy 8-3 in non-league play. The Lady Cougars had hat tricks from Brenna Whitney and Jennifer Mendoza.
The Lady Jacks goals came from seniors Alex Toevs and Gabby Flores, as well as junior Alysha Donovan.
