Bassett cards personal best at Colockum Ridge

WAC during Tuesday’s home match against Ephrata and Grandview. The duo each led their team, respectively.
Lady Tiger freshman Kenedee Peters fired a 2-over par 74 to earn medalist honors, while Bassett shot an 88. The low round by Peters helped push Bassett to post the lowest round of her career. Bassett’s previous best round was 91
Chloe Ovenell shot a 107, Marlo Omlin had a 111, Miranda Reynolds shot a 123 and Cydney Schaapman posted a 157.
Team scores: Ephrata 335, Quincy 429, Grandview inc.
At Gamble Sands – Bassett and Omlin each fired a 104.
The medalist honors went to Chelan’s Myranda Evans. She carded a 96. Team honors went to Quincy, as Chelan only had three players complete 18 holes.
Quincy: Bassett 104, Omlin 104, Ovenell 128, Reynolds 150.

The boys
At Lakeview G&CC – For the second straight match, Kyle Feigal led the Jacks golf team. The senior fired a 99, while freshman Jesus Sosa shot a 100.
The medalist honors went to Aaron Whalen of Ephrata, who shot an even par-71. Team scores: Ephrata 301, Quincy 411, Grandview 515.
Quincy: Feigal 99, Sosa 100, Trajan Trevino 104, Bl. Van Diest 108, Juan Aguilar 109, Farias 110.
At Gamble Sands – Feigal shot a 98 to pace the Jacks. The medalist was Eli Christenson of Chelan who fired an 88. Team scores: Chelan 384, Quincy 408.
