Booths still available at Quincy Biz Expo

Staff report
Area businesses hope to hit a home run with customers at the Quincy Business Expo on April 26.
The expo, organized by the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce, will be 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Quincy Valley Business & Conference Center, 840 F St. S.W.
The theme of the first-time event centers on baseball, with organizers encouraging people to support their home team by visiting local businesses. The chamber hopes to make the expo an annual event.
The Quincy Business Expo will bring together business leaders throughout the region, with some 40 businesses expected to attend. The expo encourages businesses to enhance their relationships in the community while also introducing new products to potential customers, according to information from event organizers.
Among those attending are title sponsor Washington Trust Bank and major sponsors Live Nation and Cave B Winery. Also expected to attend are businesses ranging from retail and services to health care and data centers.
The event will be catered by the Quincy High School culinary program. Prizes ranging from gift certificates to local businesses to season passes to the Wenatchee AppleSox baseball team will be given away every half hour.
Admission is $5 a person, with no cost to children 12 years old and younger.
Some expo booth spaces still are available. Call Cari Mathews at the chamber at 787-2140 for information and to register for a booth.
