Cave B event will support school bands
Cave B Estate Winery’s 6th annual Caveman Roar ’n’ Pour event will support Quincy High School marching band students in a drive toward new uniforms.
The event will also support participating Wenatchee High School Golden Apple Band students in their fundraising efforts to march in the Disneyland parade and have behind-the-scenes recording opportunities this spring in Anaheim, Calif., according to a press release.
The Caveman Roar ’n’ Pour 5k trail fun run and wine tasting event is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the Cave B winery and vineyard grounds at 348 Silica Road NW, Quincy.
Two dollars from every runner’s registration will go to support participating students as well as 100 percent of sponsorship monies raised. Sponsors will have their name and logo (depending on sponsorship amount) on the runners’ T-shirts, according to a press release. Last year, 900 runners participated. The name and logo will also be on a banner over the event stage as well as in e-blasts and on social media to over 14,000 people combined.
Participants will be supporting these young musicians by running, walking, volunteering or sponsoring. To register to run, walk, volunteer, or individually support the students, go to www.caveb.com.
A business interested in sponsoring the event and having 100 percent of its sponsorship money staying in the area of either Quincy or Wenatchee high school may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for a sponsorship form or for more information.
