Grant County Fair selects new logo

With a new year comes a new identify for the Grant County Fair. Several local graphics designers were asked to submit logo ideas for consideration and a winner has been selected, according to information from the Fair and Faigrounds director, Jim McKiernan.

The new Fair logo features the outline of Grant County.

The current Fair logo has been in place for more than a decade but is often confused with Grant County Oregon, which has a similar logo.
The winning entry comes from Signs Now in Moses Lake. The Fair Advisory Committee, Fairgrounds Staff and County Commissioners felt this logo reflected the elements of the Fair and its impact on the county, according to a press release.
The Grant County Fair is scheduled for Aug. 13-17 this year. Fair staff remind the public to consider entering an exhibit in Fair. Entering an exhibit gives the opportunity to purchase an All-Week Fair pass for just $10.
