Letter to the editor: Imagine what freedom looks like

Imagine what freedom looks like
Imagine a state where:
You don’t have to worry about the right to bear arms when the legislature is in session.
You don’t have to worry about your wallet when the legislature is in session.
You don’t have to worry about your sheep or cows getting eaten by wolves when the legislature is in session.
You don’t have to worry about transferring that property to your sons and daughters and being taxed on it so badly that you lose it.
You don’t have to worry about the unborn being protected.
You don’t have to worry that your state is prepared for cyber, EMP or other attacks.
Imagine a state where our businesses are innocent until proven guilty.
Imagine a state that allows the proper management of our minerals and our forests and respects our water rights so we don’t have to worry about whether the well we dug is going to be legal or not.
Imagine a state where education means education and not indoctrination.
Imagine a state when a vote comes in, you know that election had integrity, and you know that everybody that showed up to vote was a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of Washington state; no a resident of Liberty state.
Imagine, just imagine. I think we’ve lost what freedom really, truly looks like.
(excerpts from a presentation by Representative Matt Shea)
Learn about Eastern Washington forming the new state of Liberty, with the Cascade Range being the boundary between Western Washington and Liberty, at a rally: March 23, 2-4 p.m., at 333 N. Central, Moses Lake.
