Letter to the editor: Hypocrisy to the nth degree

Hypocrisy to the nth degree
Quotes of former president Barack Obama: “We all agree on the need to better secure the border and to punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants. We are a generous and welcoming people, here in the United States, but those who enter the country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law. We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States, undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants in this country” (2005). From 2006: “The American people are a welcoming and generous people. But those who enter our country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law. And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked. Americans are right to demand better border security and better enforcement of the immigration laws.”
A story you can find on shadolsonshow.com states: While the mainstream media quickly labels Cesar Sayoc as a bona fide, Trump-loving, conservative Republican, social media and internet investigation shows the alleged “MAGA Bomber” listed as a registered Democrat since 1980 (only changing to Republican in 2016), and reveals multiple social media posts hating Republicans and the GOP, bashing George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, posting photos of Bush and Cheney as “war criminals,” and praising Code Pink, “liberal women,” as “the beautiful women of the world.” And that’s only the beginning (go to shadolsonshow.com if you wish to read more). Another story on the site, from October 25th, stated that voters in Montgomery County, north of Houston and in Clear Lake, Texas, another Houstonian suburb in nearby Harris County, reached out to the Shad Olson Show reporting voting irregularities and anomalies saying that after electronically selecting straight party Republican ticket (a voting machine option meant to save voters time compared with voting each race individually) their ballots instead showed a vote for Beto O’Rourke, the heavily socialist Democrat challenging U.S. Senator Ted Cruz in this crucial midterm election to decide which party controls the U.S. Senate and Congress in the second half of Donald Trump’s first term. By the way, why are there no Democrats speaking up for Keith Ellison’s two recent accusers? Hypocrisy.
