Letter to the editor: With an unknown opponent, who knows?

With an unknown opponent, who knows?
I plan to vote for a person of the highest integrity who will represent the values and ethics of the people in our district. Sylvia Hammond is such a person. Her opponent? Who knows?
I plan to vote for a person who understands the challenges facing our family farms and small businesses. Sylvia Hammond has an agricultural and business background from her work on her family farm. Her opponent? Who knows?
I plan to vote for a person who places great emphasis on quality education. Sylvia Hammond has worked in the public schools and will work to strengthen our public schools, colleges, universities and trade schools. Her opponent? Who knows?
I plan to vote for a person who will represent all of us. In conversations with Sylvia I have found her to be adamant about working “across the aisle” to facilitate solutions. She will listen and respect other’s rights, beliefs and opinions. Her opponent? Who knows?
I plan to vote for Sylvia Hammond for State Representative. She is intelligent, hard working, compassionate and determined. She is running against an unknown opponent who may not have the qualifications and values Sylvia has, and may not put our district’s needs first. Who knows?
