Masked gunman holds up business

A man wielding a handgun held up a Quincy business on Friday, making away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
An employee was leaving the business, which is in a small business development at 17 H. St. S.E., at about 11 a.m. when the man approached her, demanding the money, said Sgt. Paul Snyder of the Quincy Police Department. The business was listed as Tienda Jalisco.
The robber then made off on foot.
“It was very quick,” Snyder said of the robbery.
The victim described the robber as a short Hispanic male, wearing a red shirt and black pants. He also wore something over his face.
He had a small black handgun.
Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with tips are asked to call the tip line at 787-8477.
