Betty Ann Delagrave
Betty Ann Delagrave, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2018, after an extended illness with cancer, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born on December 7, 1942, in Oregon City, Oregon, a daughter of Earle and Zella West. As a small girl with a military father, they moved occasionally and then the family had settled in Scobey, Montana, where she attended and graduated from Scobey High School in 1961. In 1962, Betty married Don Delagrave at the age of 19, in Scobey, Montana, where they met and where they soon had three beautiful children – Wendy, Lynn and Joe. After the youngest was born, the family decided to move to Quincy, Wash., where they built their lives, careers and many friends throughout the Columbia Basin area. Betty thoroughly enjoyed her many years as a T.A. at Mountain View Elementary School in Quincy. Betty also enjoyed cooking, crafts, playing golf and camping with her husband.
Betty is survived by her husband, Don “Joe” Delagrave, daughter Wendy Delagrave, daughter Lynn (Robert) Durall, and son Joe (Jaimi) Delagrave; four brothers – Lyle West, Robert West, Randy West and Les West; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
There will be a family memorial held at a future date in Scobey, Montana, and her final resting place will be there.
