Tennis beats Prosser; loses to East Valley
The Quincy tennis teams split league outings this past week. On Saturday both the boys and girls defeated Prosser by scores of 3-2. On Tuesday, Quincy lost on the road to East Valley.
East Valley boys 4, Quincy 1
Rollie Ronish III and Gunnar Petersen notched a straight set win at first doubles. The pair defeated Jask Khinda and Danny Scherchettgt 6-2, 6-1. At third doubles, Hamilton Hyer and Julio Plascencia forced a third set, but lost to Angel Guttierrez and Matt Gifford 6-3, 2-6, 7-5.

East Valley girls 4, Quincy 1
The girls picked up their lone win at first doubles, but had three other matches end in split set losses.
Rachel Faw and Natalie Thomsen defeated Tatiana Reyna and Bayleigh Harris 7-6 (7-3), 6-1.

Doubles: Roish/Petersen by forfeit. Guerrero/Petersen by forfeit. Hyer/Plascencia by forfeit.
Quincy girls 3, Prosser 2
The Lady Jacks won all three double matches on Saturday. Faw and Thomsen went three sets, while the other two matches were won in straight sets.
