Tia Stoddard, Kelly Wallace named QSD Employees of the Year
Tia Stoddard and Kelly Wallace were named Tuesday as the top classified and certified District Employees of the Year in Quincy School District.
Stoddard is business manager in the district’s administration building. Wallace is a physical education teacher at Quincy High School. Both will be honored at a regional Excellence Banquet sponsored by the North Central Educational Service District.
Other top employees also were honored during the school board meeting. They included Alicia Infante and Elena Ybarra, classified, Quincy High School; Nicholas Weitzel, certified, and Valerie Knodell, classified, at High Tech High School; Jill Copenhaver, certified, and Veronica Valdez, Quincy Junior High School; Kim Bunch, certified, and Rachel Adams, classified, at Monument Elementary School; Debbie Ramsey, certified, and Orin Melvin, Mountain View Elementary School; Amanda McCurdy, certified, and Letty Baughman, Pioneer Elementary School; Glenys Stadelman, certified, and Sonja Arizmendi, classified, George Elementary School; and Tammy Ybarra, certified, and Shelly Petersen and Maggie Ramirez, classified. Also honored were classified employees Angela Moyser, Transportation Department; Areli Ortiz, Food Service; and Corina Kling, Maintenance.
All of those honored were chosen by their peers in the building or department where they work.
